The Queen Victoria Women’s Centre’s Exhibition Space provides an opportunity for artists to exhibit and sell their work. With white walls and parquetry floorboards, it is an attractive, light-filled gallery located on the ground floor of the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre. The Exhibition Space features solo and group exhibitions and artworks made by women and non-binary artists. The space, while currently closed, is usually open to the general public and aims to showcase the diversity of women and non-binary artists working in Victoria.
During the Covid-19 shut down the centre called for submissions for We/Connect/PPE: A phone photography exhibition open to all Victorian women and non-binary artists. Photography is in the theme of We/Connect/PPE taken since March 12, 2020.
A selection of works have been exhibited virtually on the walls of the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre’s exhibition space. A live exhibition will follow in the centre later in the year.
